Administrative Assistant II


Job Summary

Performs a variety of administrative and staff support duties for AMERIND, which require a range of skills and knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. Assists and directs visitors; resolves administrative problems and inquiries; composes, edits, and proofreads correspondence and reports; and prepares a range of administrative documents.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED, three years administrative experience.
  • Associates Degree preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Specialist Certification preferred.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation.

Manager of Tribal Critical Infrastructure

Job Summary
Provides expert project management and internal/external organization of critical infrastructure projects, reporting directly to, and in close coordination with, the Director of ACI, from inception through completion of projects.  Operates as a point of contact, relationship manager, and internal coordination manager for all parties involved in all ACI projects.  Executes the provision of individualized client services based on client needs and other demands (i.e., legal, project, regulatory, business) of critical infrastructure projects.  Coordinates closely with the Director of ACI on developing a comprehensive plan for client development, developing and maintaining a menu of client services, and actively soliciting, recruiting, and signing clients.  Coordinates closely with the Director of ACI, senior managers, and the Executive team to maintain effective cross-departmental efforts and strategies.  Analyzes and assists Director of ACI and Executive team in developing advocacy documents, and advocates and assists clients in developing advocacy advancing Tribal community welfare and critical infrastructure policy positions before federal, state, local, and Tribal governments.  Maintains strict confidentiality of privileged information.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree/li>
  • 8 years of professional experience in information technology and telecommunications services/li>
  • 5 years of communications technology project management experience/li>
  • 5 years of communications technology budgeting and management experience/li>
  • 4 years of federal grant and subsidy program management experience/li>
  • Valid driver’s license

Safety Services Representative

Job Summary
Advises and works with clients on best practices to reduce loss and protect assets.  Conducts analysis to detect, report, and resolve matters in the area of safety while providing great customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Business Management, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field and three years’ experience in safety, loss prevention or consulting.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • No felony, theft or stealing convictions.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation.

Senior Underwriter

Job Summary
Experience underwriting commercial or public sector lines of business.  Underwrite and service accounts in the Native American and Native Alaskan Village marketplace through a direct relationship or appointed agents.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Sales, Administration or related field or equivalent experience and five years insurance experience.
  • 3 or more years of property and casualty underwriting experience.
