Tribal Risk and Emergency Management

TREMA was created by our tribes and AMERIND to harness the strength of our Tribal risk and emergency service providers. Providing assistance and establishing partnerships before, during and after a disaster has occurred in Indian country. Federal/State relief agency resources are often overwhelmed and understaffed during a large scale catastrophic event. TREMA's objective is for Tribes to take control and develop the resources necessary to ensure the safety and well being of our Native communities during the long term recovery process.
